Located in the high alpine region of Banff National Park in Alberta, Skoki Lodge is a remote retreat that is only accessible by hiking or skiing in from Lake Louise (with no exceptions). Most have to find their own way, but we can provide the guide.
So if you are not keen on cross country skiing or a good stomp in summer, this lodge is not for you. However, for hiking enthusiasts and keen skiers, Skoki is a wholesome and rewarding experience.
The wildflower meadows are out of this world in summer, and the wildlife opportunities are excellent. The property accommodates 22 guests throughout the main lodge and three cabins. The rooms are traditionally built log cabins, warmed by propane heaters. There is no electricity or running water, though warm wash water is always available and at night the warm glow of kerosene lamps will give you light.
There is a certain charm about Skoki Lodge and its location. An evening spent playing scrabble by oil lamp is a wonderful reminder of how the simple things in life can give the most pleasure.
Head out with an expert guide in search of black bears, bighorn sheep, hoary marmots and beaver and, in the winter, discover ski slopes, cross country trails for telemarking and snowshoeing routes.

Additional facilities include secure underground parking and although there is no restaurant on site, staff are happy to recommend local dining options.
