Offering a rainforest lodge experience on the banks of Pilchicocha Lake, Sacha Lodge is nestled deep within a private 5000-acre reserve.

An elevated boardwalk leads to 26 individual thatched cabins, each with a shady terrace and personal hammocks, which are decorated in a bright and spacious style with sustainable wood furnishings.

An incredible base for explorations of the jungle and swims in the lake pool, guests can join birds and monkeys on the delightful canopy walkway.

Activities

For a unique and memorable wildlife-viewing experience, head up to the magnificent canopy bridge that is suspended at a height of 94-feet above the rainforest or traverse the impressive 135-foot observation tower that clings to a giant kapok tree to experience close encounters with several exotic species of bird. Venture out on mysterious night-walks in search of caiman, take river trips by dugout canoe, witness a nearby clay lick or go on the search for piranhas.

Located in the depths of the Ecuadorean rainforest on the banks of the River Napo, Sacha Lodge is a 25-minute light aircraft flight from Quito followed by a two-hour river journey by motorised canoe.
