This intimate lodge is nestled amongst the mountains that form the entrance to Lake Clark National Park and overlooking Big River Lakes. It is reached via a scenic 50-minute floatplane ride from Anchorage.

The main drawcard of Redoubt Bay Lodge is that it offers some of Alaska’s best bear viewing in a stunning, remote wilderness setting of 171,000-acres.

This small rustic lodge, with just three traditional timber cabins, is cosy and simple in design. The emphasis is on the wildlife viewing and the surrounding lakes. Activities include watching bears come to the waters to fish for salmon, kayaking around the lakes, fishing or hiking in the Redoubt Bay Critical Habitat Area.
