Located near Tanjung on the west coast of Lombok, this sensational resort has 50 rooms of which 18 are villas with private walled gardens and pools.

The landscaped pool and lagoons are lit by flaming torches at night, the service is immaculate, the atmosphere serene and the combination of this together with the spa, tennis courts, excellent scuba diving, local villages to explore and some of the best food in Asia, makes the Oberoi Lombok a truly exceptional resort.

We’ve always loved the Oberoi Lombok. Often overlooked due to its neighbour Bali, Lombok is a peaceful island and the Oberoi reflects this atmosphere. Traditional yet stylish, this hotel is ideal for relaxing away from the buzz of other well-known islands.

Activities

The Oberoi is perfect for a relaxing beach stay, as a family, a couple or friends together – just watch the sunset, read a book by the pool or unwind in the spa. However, for those wanting to keep busy the Gili Islands are a mere 20-minutes away by speedboat – perfect for snorkelling, visit a local village by traditional horse-drawn cart or treat yourself to a sunset cruise with champagne and canapes. For those with bundles of energy climb Mount Rinjani.

The Oberoi Lombok is found in the northwest coast of Lombok, opposite the Gili Islands. Easily reached from Bali by just a 40-minute flight or from Kuala Lumpur or Singapore on regular flights, the hotel is a drive north of 1hr 45 minutes from the airport.
