Carved into the cliffside, Yunak Evleri is made up of 6 cave houses encompassing 39 cave rooms, linked by a labyrinth of passageways and curved stone stairways. Many of the rooms date back to the 5th and 6th centuries and the style of decor is simple and elegant without detracting from the charm and character of the natural cave environment. The rooms have their own distinct style with a mixture of hand-made embroidery, antique Ottoman furniture and traditional rugs and carpets. Each of the rooms also has its own private patio or balcony.
