Immersed in the bush, the Mashatu Tented Camp lies at the heart of this private reserve. Eight private tents shelter beneath the branches of towering trees, linked by a network of winding pathways.

At night, the camp’s boma is lit by firelight and looks out over a floodlit waterhole – frequented by a wide variety of game.

In spite of the bush locale, the tents are comfortable and well appointed. Sitting on raised platforms, they feature en-suite facilities and an outside shower. Behind the tents, a beautiful, communal plunge pool offers the chance to cool off, whilst a thatched gazebo acts as a space for relaxation and socialising.

Game drives are included at the camp, but a number of other activities can be arranged. These include walking safaris, cycling excursions, horse riding, photographic tuition, cultural trips and cable car crossings of the Limpopo River.
