Los Trozos

Tucked away in the highlands above the city of Sonsonate on a working coffee plantation is the family-run hotel, Los Trozos. The accommodation has been created in the old farmhouse building, where the original kitchen has been cleverly adapted to provide a beautiful living space.

Each of the four rooms has been decorated in an old colonial style, but with the comforts of modern-day living. With 120 acres of private estate and located on the edge of the Cerro Verde National Park, the activities at Los Trozos are plentiful, with hiking, mountain biking and bird watching on the doorstep. Los Trozos is only a few hours from the coast too, so diving, surfing and deep-sea fishing day trips can also be arranged.
