Four Seasons Tented Camp – Golden Triangle
Reached by river boat amid Thailand’s bamboo jungles, where three countries meet, a one-of-a-kind experience for active adults awaits.
With just 15 tented accommodations all unique in Four Seasons luxury, right down to the hand-hammered copper bathtubs, this all-inclusive two- or three-night adventure cover every detail, from supporting elephant conservation to Mekong River excursions; from formal campfire dinners to riverside drinks in the stilt-top bar.
Why we like Four Seasons Tented Camp
After the bustling streets of Bangkok and the white sandy beaches of Southern Thailand, a stay at here allows the guest to experience Thai jungles away from the mass tourism often associated with this region. The riverside setting is both peaceful and picturesque and the atmosphere warm and intimate with food, sightseeing and accommodation of an exceptional standard.
An elephant Mahout course offered here and is of a high standard, however, we encourage clients to only walk with elephants (not ride) and learn more about their welfare. Rightly elephant riding is not offered as part of this experience.

Activities
A stay at the Four Seasons Tented Camp allows guests certain activities to choose from as part of their package. Visit Chiang Rai with its temples, the Hall of Opium, set up by the Princess Mother to encourage an alternative to the drugs trade of the region, journey along the river which offers views of both Thailand and Myanmar, and spend time in and around the camp with the resident elephants, the jungle spa and the pool. Cooking lessons are offered overlooking the organic garden, follow one of the hiking trails around the camp or learn Thai massage.
