The subdued rooms come with free Wi-Fi and flat-screens. All offer balconies or terraces; some have in-room baths and/or wood-panelled ceilings. Suites add living areas. Tucked away at the end of a quiet lane, off the bustling main road to Calangute in Goa, is Aashyana Villa. This beautiful, private villa complex nestles on the prettiest stretch of Candolim beach, in a lush tropical garden exuding tranquillity. Be pampered in the elegant luxury of Aashyana. Either choose to stay in the principal villa, fully staffed with five bedrooms. Alternatively, there are three pretty self-contained Casinhas set back in the gardens that sleep four people comfortably. Closer to the beach are two beachside cottages, with only a garden path between you and the Arabian Sea. Behind the estate, set back from the beach is Villa Venus occupying its own grounds. This feels far more self-contained and independent from Aashyana Estate.
