Sea Endurance

Originally built in Denmark in 1992 to serve as a ferry on the west coast of Greenland, Sea Endurance, formally MS Quest, underwent a complete refurbishment in 2005 converting her into a small, very comfortable ice-strengthened expedition ship.

There is accommodation for a maximum of 53 passengers in a variety of fairly simple, contemporary, Scandinavian styled cabins, all with port holes and private bathrooms. There is a spacious observation lounge/lecture room with panoramic views where a series of lectures on the area's flora, fauna, history and glaciology are given in the evenings. Meals are served buffet style in the dining room. Passengers are always welcome on the bridge.
