Originally a 17th Century casa palacio, this 300-year-old building is now a boutique hotel that has been meticulously restored and converted. The 17 rooms and suites offer chic accommodation that fuses contemporary with Moorish design.
Many original features of the building have been preserved including marble columns and carved wooden beams. The entire city can be viewed from the poolside rooftop.
Why we like corral del rey
Like its more rural sister hotel the Hacienda de San Rafael, Corral del Rey creates a relaxed and intimate atmosphere with friendly and understated service. It is a stylish and well-located haven from which to explore the city of Seville.
The hotel's roof terrace is a wonderful place to enjoy the panoramic views of Seville. Relax on a sun lounger or take a dip in the plunge pool. Although the hotel only serves breakfast, there is a lovely atmospheric café/bar/lounge area where all day tapas are served. Wonderful artwork is also on display all around the hotel, most of which are for sale. All 17 guest rooms are different. Why not spoil yourself with a Pool Terrace Suite or Penthouse with your own private terrace and plunge pool.
The city of Seville is on your doorstep. If you fancy a morning relaxing at the hotel, the staff will be happy to arrange a massage or yoga session in your room.
The hotel concierge can organise well-curated activities with local experts, for example, wine tasting, cookery classes, tapas tours and tickets for events in the city, to name but a few.
Corral del Rey is in the heart of Seville’s old quarter, tucked away in the narrow streets of Barrio Alfalfa, five minutes’ walk from the Cathedral. The hotel is a 20-minute journey from Seville airport.
