A true icebreaker with high polar credentials, Khlebnikov was purpose-built in Finland in 1981 for crushing through strong sea ice.
Nine years later, it was refitted as a passenger expedition ship with 54 suites for 112 passengers, two dining rooms, a lounge and bar, heated indoor plunge pool, exercise room with sauna, theatre-style auditorium and Polar Boutique.
All 54 cabins provide en-suite facilities, opening windows a desk and a chair. Cabins range from triples to spacious corner suites. Along with the fleet of zodiacs the two on-board helicopters provide remarkable aerial sightseeing opportunities few passengers in the world are likely to experience in their lifetime.
