Second Home is the project of well-known Peruvian artist Victor Delfin's daughter. The property sits high up on the coast, one block from the main square in the quirky Barranco area, close to the Bridge of Sighs.
There are eight rooms (five with ocean view), a pretty garden, swimming pool and a stunning view down to the Pacific ocean, complete with surfers. The house and gardens are full of art, of course. Breakfast is served outdoors, at any time of day. Be slightly prepared for noise: Lima is bustling and cosmopolitan, and the waves are loud.
Victor himself lives next door in a studio you can visit, watch him paint or sculpt and chat to him (in Spanish) about his work.
Why we Like it
Amazing uninterrupted views of the Pacific Ocean from the gardens.
