Brazil Valquiria Cabral is one of the lead researchers from The Oncafari Project in the Cerrado. She was a trainee at the wild animal rehabilitation centre in Campo Grande from 2013 before going onto work as a wildlife safari ranger at Caiman Ecological Refuge for two years.
She is currently part of Oncafari’s team at Pousada Trijunção in the Brazilian Cerrado, responsible for monitoring and habituating the resident maned wolves.
