Antarctica Celene Pickard has been the Executive Secretary of the Friends of SPRI since 2007, and is currently a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. She previously worked as a researcher for Sir Ranulph Fiennes’ seminal biography ‘Captain Scott’. A passionate polar advocate, Celene has organised many previous Friends voyages to both the Arctic and Antarctic.
