Following the khareef or summer monsoon, Salalah has a greener, more lush feel than the rest of Oman, allowing tropical fruit to grow and the wadis to fill with spring water. With white-sand beaches, incredible whale watching possibilities, smaller souqs and vastly less visited sites, Salalah is a most worthwhile addition to an Omani holiday.
