Kicheche Bush Camp

One of the smallest properties in the Kicheche portfolio, this classic, intimate tented camp is fresh, open and bright. Completely unfenced, Bush Camps sits amongst whistling thorn acacias, offering a feeling of exclusivity and wilderness, with great views over the plains-filled plains in the distance.

Each of the 6 tents are designed to let the light in, whilst allowing for great views of the surrounding bush and the occasional game wandering past.

Located in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy, bordering the Mara Reserve, this is where you find game viewing without the crowds and the open feel of the mess tent, takes full advantage of the setting. Dinner is a lively affair, always taken al-fresco wherever possible, with tall tales around the campfire and the most delicious food. Darren, the manager, is a baker by profession and his freshly made bread is the best in the Mara - or so he says.

Why We Like It.

The hosts, Emma & Darren lie at the heart of the success of Bush Camp, having been here for a number of years and their easy-going attitude and big personalities, ensure guests are treated as part of the family. It is no wonder they have attracted a loyal number of repeat clients.
