Kizingoni Beach

Kizingoni Beach sits on 24 acres of deserted beach just a 20-minute boat ride from the fishing towns of Lamu and Shela. On this spectacular African beach front six villas enjoy twenty four acres of seclusion, inlaid with ancient coconut groves, as well as an orchard and vegetable garden.

The villagers of Kipungani provide fish, dhows and donkeys in return for employment. Other initiatives to support the local community include the planting of hundreds of coconut trees, an orchard, and a covered vegetable garden. Shallow wells provide water while the wind and sun create energy through windmills and solar panels.
