Families at coconut lagoon
Families will be spoilt for choice with so many activities on offer. Children can try their hand at learning to play a local instrument, watch a Kalari match, learn to husk a coconut, interact with some of the finest Keralan performers and dancers during evening shows, spend time counting the 54 species of dragonfly alone in the butterfly garden. Explore the backwaters by canoe or cycle. There is never time for TV here, and you won’t find one if you look.
Coconut Lagoon is located on the eastern end of Lake Vembanad and can only be reached by boat. Transfer from the airport takes approximately two and a half hours.
