Begin this journey travelling independently through Yellowstone National Park, famous for its steaming thermal pools, bubbling mud volcanoes and the world-renowned Old Faithful Geyser. Spend a full day exploring with a local expert guide who can interpret the wildlife and geothermal features and take you far from the crowds to unveil the hidden secrets of the landscape. During a visit to this park, it is possible to see grizzly bears, wolves, bison, elk and many other animals in their natural setting.

Grand Teton National Park, far less visited than its geothermal neighbour, is home to the mighty snow-capped Teton Range and equally remarkable wildlife. Big Sky Montana: Lone Mountain Ranch
Tucked away in the forests of Big Sky Montana, historic Lone Mountain Ranch was established in 1915 as a working cattle ranch. The ranch now offers a great year-round base to explore the Montana wilderness, with dramatic peaks and towering forests of spruce and aspen, to the endless streams and rivers that meander through this range. Days are spent horseback riding with an experienced wrangler, fly-fishing or relaxing with a massage whilst the children take part in the daily kids’ activities.
