Villa Vager Mani is Villa Vager's newest boutique hotel in the Southern Peloponnese between Kardamili and Kalamata. Built on a soaring olive-crowned hill above the village of Megali Mantinia, the hotel commands spectacular views of the Gulf of Messinia, the mountain Taigetos and the Rintomou Gorge.
Only two kilometres from Santova Beach, this is the perfect location for an exceptional holiday, in addition it is also only a 20-minute drive from the picturesque village of Kardamilli, former home of Sir Patrick Leigh Fermor. The hotel itself was once a fortified mansion dating back to 1858. It has been designated by the Greek Ministry of Culture as 'a work of art' and a historical monument of extreme importance - an excellent example of post revolution residence in north Mani.
Why we like it
This is a boutique hotel owned and managed by Marina Vager and her family. Expect a high level of customer experience and attentive service from all the kind staff.
Villa Vager Mani is actually a historic Mani Tower. It has only four suites, all individually decorated with cool stone built interiors. Each suite has sea views best viewed from the large private balconies, perfect for watching the sunset. All with Super King or King size beds, modern bathrooms and air conditioning. The suites have large private outdoor spaces, some of them with private terraces with different views. The combination of an exquisite decor, the amenities, service and experiences, merging with the comfort, tranquillity and the views is a winning mix.
