Patio Andaluz

A truly charming boutique hotel that has been declared a Cultural Patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO, Patio Andaluz is a former 17th century mansion house that offers visitors to Quito the opportunity to stay just minutes away from the hubbub of the city's historic centre while being encapsulated in an old-world piece of architecture.

Typical of the style of the city, its 32 spacious rooms and suites are arranged around two glass-ceiling internal courtyards, most rooms only have internal windows. The courtyard restaurant often features live music and is decorated with exotic flowers year-round, serving delicious Ecuadorean cuisine that is fused with Italian influences.

Why we like Patio Andaluz

This boutique property feels unapologetically authentic and oozes character, offering an atmospheric restaurant and placing focus on warm Ecuadorean hospitality.

Patio Andaluz is between five and ten minutes away from a number of renowned city highlights, including Plaza de San Francisco, gold leaf churches, theatres and museums. The nearby Republic of Cacao is a must-see, allowing visitors to sample and purchase the most authentic Latin American chocolates and cacao nibs.
