Humpback Whale, Dominican Republic holidays

Dominican Republic Holidays

Why we like the Dominican Republic

Quite simply, because for three months of the year (January – March) the Silver Banks Humpback Whale Sanctuary becomes the rendezvous point for up to 5,000 humpback whales. Every winter, the whales migrate from the cold waters in the north to the warm waters in Samana Bay with the purpose of mating and giving birth. Viewing these amazing mamals up close truly is the experience of a lifetime.

What to expect on your Dominican Republic holiday
