Mendoza and the Wine Regions

The province of Mendoza, situated at the foot of the glorious Andean Mountains, is the most prominent wine region in Argentina and the fifth most bountiful in the world.

The wines produced here are world-renowned, favoured for their unique flavour that is owed to high altitude and intense sunlight. Once a dry and arid expanse of land, the vineyards that are located in the semi-arid desert rely on mountain rivers fed by melted Andean glaciers.

Extensive use of glass provides panoramic views across the vineyards. Solar panels and grassy roofs are fine examples of the sustainability Casa de Uco strives for. The sleek exterior is reflected on the inside with sharp lines, glossy surfaces and minimalist décor but retaining warmth. There are 16 rooms including nine suites and a further two vineyard villas.
