Nile River, Egypt

Nile Cruises

With so much focus on the Nile, a cruise offers the perfect platform from which to access many of the country’s greatest archaeological treasures and sights.

There are many boats to choose from, however, we only work with a handful of the smaller vessels and know each of them personally and can advise which would best suit your holiday depending on the type of experience you are looking for.

The Nile Experience

The Nile enabled one of the greatest civilizations to grow and flourish. The Pharaohs’ spectacular architectural legacy has captured the imagination of travellers for generations and there remains no better introduction than a river journey on The Nile.

Cruises between Luxor and Aswan can take between three and seven nights and you can choose between a boat offering the ultimate in comfort and luxury onboard The Oberoi Zahra through to a more traditional Nile experience, onboard a dahabiya which relies on the river’s currents and the gentle breeze.

It was my passion for languages that first encouraged me to leave the UK behind and grab my rucksack. Since then, it’s been a mixture of intriguing cultures, jaw-dropping landscapes and the wonder of seeing animals in their natural habitat that sees me continuously extending my travel wish list.
