The Great Ocean Road is a beautiful route that hugs the contours of the states rugged south coast, passing the Twelve Apostles. Further inland some of the richest pastoral lands in Australia provide the setting for regal old homesteads, giving the area a feel of the English countryside.

A range of National Parks offer fabulous bushwalking trails, great viewpoints and a multitude of wildlife and seasonal flowers. Unexpected aboriginal culture, wildlife from whales to penguins and koala plus world-class vineyards and of course the cosmopolitan, sporty and artistic city of Melbourne, all combine to make this region of Australia both exciting and surprising.

Victoria is home to Melbourne, Australia’s sporting capital. This bustling city is becoming a close competitor to Sydney, with its amazing architectural structures and beautiful coastal beaches. The beaches of Philip Island are home to the world-famous Penguin Parade, where Australia’s little penguins emerge from the sea at sunset and waddle to their burrows nestled in the sand dunes.
