Sister hotel to Haida House, Ocean House is a 12-room floating lodge anchored in a sheltered bay, surrounded by rugged coastline, sandy beaches, forest and ancient village sites. Designed to reflect the cultural values and traditions of the Haida people, Ocean House offers a range of all-inclusive packages with a focus on the history of the area as well as the stunning scenery.
The 12 guestrooms are comfortable and welcoming and as well as a spa, hot tub and gym there are several communal areas including a bar, lounge and outdoor decked area.
Located on the remote west coast of Moresby Island, the southernmost of Haida Gwaii’s larger islands. Overlooking a secluded and protected bay, the lodge is reached by air from Vancouver before a helicopter flight from Sandspit. There is no road access to the lodge.
