Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp

The stunning, newly renovated Nxabega, is nestled under a canopy of African ebony trees, and overlooking expansive lagoons and channels as well as reeded floodplains, offering a beautiful and stylish delta experience.

Accommodation at Nxabega comprises of 12 East African-style safari tents on raised wooden platforms with private decks. The elegant tents with their chocolate toned interiors are en-suite and all overlook the floodplains. Tents are linked to the communal area by wooden walkways skirting the lagoon. At the heart of Nxabega is the elevated central area constructed of local timber, reed and thatch with a focus on indoor and outdoor living. Nxabega offers a combination of land and water activities from daily game drives, bush walks, Delta cruises in a power boat, mokoro excursions to excellent bird watching.

Why we like it

Nxabega is light, bright and fun. The local timber-and-thatch rooms are softened by rich fabrics and cushions, standing out against the lush floodplains that surrounds it. On top of this, the manager, Patrick, and his superb team give the lodge personality.
