This isolated camp lies in the northern reaches of the delta, positioned on a small peninsula and hidden beneath a cluster of mature trees. Looking out over fertile grasslands, Kadizora sits only a small distance from one of the Okavango's many channels, which in turn connect to a network of small lagoons.
Its expansive wooden deck, which is positioned in front of the camp and centres on a fire pit, affords panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. 10 luxury tents dot the peninsula, each one secluded and private, with a beautiful wooden veranda in front of light, netted curtains. These can be drawn back, providing magnificent views of the delta from the comfortable king-sized beds.
Inside the spacious tents, dark-wood furnishings contrast wonderfully with the light canvas. The floors are decorated with patterned rugs, whilst cosy armchairs - beautifully upholstered - face the wide veranda and the views beyond.
WHY WE LIKE IT
Kadizora Camp is beautifully positioned, amidst a secluded private concession in the Okavango Delta. But it is the option to go hot-air ballooning from this quiet camp that makes it especially unique. Available at only a handful of properties in the delta, hot-air ballooning is the perfect way to appreciate the vast magnificence of this watery landscape.
