A small community run hotel in a very remote area of the Siloli Desert in southern Bolivia. Located between the Chilean Hito Cajon border and the Uyuni Salt Flats, it is the only place to stay in the area.
Ojo de Perdiz has 30 simple rooms. Due to the location electricity comes from solar power and is only available between 6pm and 10pm and there is no Wifi or mobile coverage. What it does have is friendly staff, good food and incredible uninterrupted views all around.
The incredible experience of sleeping in the highest desert in the world. A wonderful remote hotel with no wifi, no mobile phone coverage and no man-made structure for as far as the eye can see, just stunning scenery and big skies.
