The Sanctuary Ananda is a boutique floating hotel, styled in beautiful Burmese furnishings. A 21 cabin, suite-only vessel, the Ananda is one of the finest boats on the Irrawaddy.

There are three decks, with the exclusive owner’s suite on the top deck, occupying a vast length of the ship and all suites have private balconies. Additional facilities include a spa, plunge pool and five-star dining.

The five star Ananda is the only full suite boat with cabins offering a stunning outdoor seating area to watch life on the Irrawaddy float by.

Activities

Do as little or as much as you like. From the peaceful sundeck marvel at lush countryside passing gold-spired temples and local villages. Browse coffee table art in the library or read by the pool. Listen to the enthralling lectures and masterclasses where you can learn about traditional thanaka makeup techniques and how to dress in longyi.
Daily shore excursions will visit Sagaing, Amarapura, U Bein Bridge, as well as quaint villages and philanthropy projects.
