February falls into Zimbabwe’s green season, when landscapes are lush and green from the rains and there are fewer crowds. Kenya
Kenya – a classic safari destination. With its dry season running from January to March, you can expect clear skies, lower visitor numbers and ample game sightings. The dry soil allows for easy navigation across the savannah in places like the Masai Mara and Samburu National Reserve. The chance of encountering wildlife at the watering holes is high, with elephants, zebras, giraffes and predators crowding around diminishing water sources. Combine wildlife viewing with cultural interactions with the Maasai for a rich safari experience. End your trip with time on the Kenyan Coast, when the Indian Ocean is at its clearest. Snorkel alongside green turtles, manta rays and whale sharks.
South Africa
Summer in South Africa falls between January and April, making February the perfect time to explore everything on offer.
