Just a short hop by boat from Homer on the Kenai Peninsula, Tutka Bay is a secluded wilderness retreat overlooking Kachemak Bay. Tucked inside pristine old growth Sitka forests at the head of a seven-mile fjord, the lodge is not only a sanctuary to relax in but a base from which to discover the stunning surroundings.
With rocky coastlines, dramatic mountains and peaceful beaches, activities on offer include whale watching, kayaking, hiking and flightseeing. A days fishing can be finished off in the award-winning cooking school, cooking your catch of the day.
The main lodge, housing the dining room and lounge, and the six rustic, comfortable cabins, all overlook Tutka Bay fjord.
