Water’s Edge Shoreside Suites

Set on the waterfront of Ucluelet Inlet, Water’s Edge Shoreside Suites is perfectly placed for exploring the wilderness of the west coast of Vancouver Island. Occupying a quiet position on the outskirts of Ucluelet town, the hotel overlooks the peaceful waters of the Pacific – often frequented by whales and other marine life.

The hotel suits both couples and families looking for an independent and local getaway spot. With self-catering facilities within each suite, there is the opportunity to visit the local town. There are 50 apartment suites – either one or two-bedroom – each offering views across the water and some with outer deck and soaker tubs. A restaurant is due to open in 2019 and there is a spa building and laundry facilities on-site.

Why we like Water's Edge Shoreside Suites

The Water’s Edge Shoreside Suites are an attractive set of apartments located on a pretty peninsula overlooking Ucluelet Harbour which can be home to birthing orcas during the summer and bears that graze the shoreline. We love this region for its calm and serene atmosphere and the upmarket, yet understated self-catering accommodation.

Activities

There are many activities to enjoy from this property. Whether you wish to go hiking, cycling, kayaking or take a zip line tour that teaches the traditions of the First Nation people. Ucluelet town is just a five-minute walk away with an array of restaurants, bars and artisan shops and home to Canada’s first catch and release aquarium. The popular town of Tofino is only 30 minutes by car and the wild beaches of the famous Wild Pacific Trail are just a short drive away. In season, whale watching and bear viewing trips can also be arranged.
