Explore canyons, thermal springs, waterfalls, volcanoes, geysers, salt flats and sand dunes on foot, horseback or by bicycle, or head out to climb one of the nearby volcanoes. It is also possible to visit an ancient rock art site, embark on a night trek by moonlight or head out on a 4×4 discovery.

The nearby charming oasis town of San Pedro de Atacama, with its museum, church and local craft shops, is a wonderful spot for browsing for souvenirs in downtime when not reclining with a cup of rica rica herbal tea or gaining insight into local heritage through cactus needle weaving and cultivation technique workshops.
