The Plettenberg Hotel

The Plettenberg is a cosmopolitan hotel built on a rocky headland with breathtaking views of the sea and the mountains surrounding Plettenberg Bay on the Garden Route.

The main lounge area is warm and welcoming with a natural stone walled fireplace.

The Sand Restaurant serves sumptuous breakfasts and fine dinners to suit all tastes and the award-winning wine cellar is stocked with a selection of the best local wines.

The 37 rooms and suites are all air-conditioned and have en-suite bathrooms – some have uninterrupted sea views, others have side views of the sea and some overlook the gardens.

The hotel has two swimming pools, which seem to flow into the ocean below, the Carchele Spa and a series of terraces from which dolphins and whales can be seen in the bay below.
