Why we like Tentua di Murlo

This is villa living at its best – total privacy and the freedom that comes with a villa but the luxury of knowing dinner can be bought to your door or a complimentary car can run you to and from the main house to indulge in homemade pastas, breads and of course the estate wines. The perfect blend of independence but a night or two off from cooking should you wish – it is a holiday after all.

Facilities

The size of the villa varies depending on the number of bedrooms, but they all have private pools, fully equipped kitchens, laundry rooms, wonderful outside dining spaces and plenty of pool loungers. All villas have the facilities one would expect from a hotel – WIFI, satellite TV, daily cleaning (if required) with a locally sourced welcome hamper to get you started. In addition, the estate provides complimentary transfers to and from the main house, where the fabulous Il Caldaro restaurant offers traditional Umbrian dishes with a contemporary twist. The cooking pays homage to the local region and its traditions while using the estates bountiful gardens for most of its produce.

Also found in the main house is The Orangerie, perfect for morning coffee, a light lunch afternoon tea or perhaps a pre-dinner cocktail. There is no pressure to visit either of the restaurants as delicious food can be delivered to you from the restaurant or a private chef provided, on those nights you don’t fancy firing up the BBQ and dining under the stars.
