Why we like Sher Bagh

With a larger fleet of customised 4×4s than ever before, be prepared for a great game experience inside the finest habitat for wild tigers in the world. Modified and specially designed “Safari-Shocks”, made exclusively for Sher Bagh jeeps deliver a smoother ride. All Sher Bagh jeeps come with binoculars and guidebooks as well as accessories such as bean bags and camera stands for the more serious photographers.

Facilities

Luxurious white linen tents that are modelled after 1920s safari quarters of the princes at the time. Classic, authentic styling, the tents are situated on manicured gardens. The tents are air-conditioned and each has a veranda. Large beds and en-suite bathrooms are the ultimate in luxury. There is a main lodge where you will find a bar and restaurant. Wifi is available.

Sher Bagh is set on the outskirts of Ranthambore National Park, 13km from Sawai Madhopur, in Rajasthan, northern India. It is 180km from Jaipur and 350km from Agra (six hours by car). Jaipur (180km) is the nearest airport. It is served by flights from most Indian cities, including Delhi and Mumbai (Bombay). There is also a private airstrip and helipad at Sawai Madhopur (14km); private charters can be arranged.

From Jaipur Airport it is a four-hour drive to Ranthambore. There are daily trains from Jaipur to Sawai Madhopur (a two-hour journey), as well as from Delhi (four hours) and Bharatpur (two and a half hours).
