A lakeside getaway on the banks of the spectacular Columbia River, the authentic Skamania Lodge offers its guests a markedly Pacific North-western experience.
Showcasing a magnificent three-story stone fireplace, extensive river views, two locally-inspired restaurants, a golf course and a spa, the lodge is nestled within 175 wooded acres. Its 254 humbly decorated rooms and suites offer a range of views that include the woodland, lake, Columbia River Gorge and the Cascade Mountains, while the hidden treehouses welcome absorbing views from their location within the fir tree forest. There is an on-site spa and fitness centre, a selection of restaurants and a challenging 18-hole lodge-owned golf course that is shrouded in the acres of woodland.
The Columbia River forms the border between Washington and Oregon, so guests can take to the river to make a watery crossing between the two states. Afterwards, return to the warmth of the lodge or sit beneath your treehouse to make s’mores on the open firepit.
Columbia River Gorge is a year-round recreational area that extends for approximately 90 miles in length across the Cascade Range. Guests of the lodge can challenge themselves to a game of golf, relax in the outdoor hot tubs and indoor hydrotherapy pools of the Waterleaf Spa or feel the thrill of zip-lining on one of the lodge’s seven lines above the gorge.
Skamania Lodge is concealed within the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area in the town of Stevenson in Washington, just 45-minutes from Portland in Oregon.
