Located on 55 acres, Singainawa Jungle Lodge offers an unforgettable experience. With only 12 air-conditioned cottages the experienced naturalists are on hand to enhance your wildlife experience. The resort is praised for its eco-friendly credentials being one of the first lodges to go plastic free and harness solar energy and rainwater harvesting.
Owned by Mrs Tulika Kedia and her team of six naturalists, including the excellent David Raju and Pranad Patil, the resort has strived to become eco-friendly and 100% plastic-free. All rooms are provided with quality checked refillable glass water bottles.
Tribal architecture is apparent throughout the lodge, which is home to 12 stone and slate cottages and two private bungalows. Quite unique for forest accommodation is the Perch – a four bedroomed bungalow and Wildernest – a two bedroomed, both perfect for a small group of wildlife enthusiasts or a family travelling together.
Aside from twice-daily jeep safaris, a few days spent in the company of the senior naturalists ensure immersion into the true wildlife experience. Make sure you take a nature walk with Pranad. His knowledge of the smaller things, including butterflies, is truly deep. Both Pranad and Namrata are amazing naturalists as are the rest of the team, and will make your safari experience a once in a lifetime timeless memory. The lodge has lots of safari equipment and camera traps can be utilised to observe the movement of wildlife. Naturalists will accompany guests on cycles through the local buffer zones. Recognising the role and importance of the tribal communities living around Kanha, Singinawa encourages all its guests to participate in village weekly market fairs. The lodge showcases tribal dance, music, painting, pottery through performances and workshops.
Singinawa Jungle Lodge was awarded the prestigious TOFT award for the John Wakefield Most Inspirational Eco-Lodge of the year 2016. This was an ode to the wildlife and nature conservation practices followed. In addition, the Singinawa Conservation Foundation is actively supporting villagers and school children in the Kohka village.
Kanha is located in the centre of India. Best reached by air, arriving into Jabalpur and travelling onwards for around four hours by road. Kanha can be connected with other national parks in Central India, although rather a long day travelling.

Kanha Earth Lodge is spread in 16 acres of natural forest, tucked away in a small hamlet bordering Kanha’s buffer zone. Its unique location, 30 minutes from the Khatia/Kisli park gate, ensures that it is close enough for easy access to the park, but still far enough from Kanha’s tourist hub to offer guests a true wilderness experience. The 12 bungalows with large open verandahs have been inspired by Gond tribal architecture and offer environmentally sensitive, low-impact accommodation through their design and use of local stone and waste wood. The absence of neighbouring lodges or highways creates an ideal setting for nature walks, birding and cycling trip through the surrounding forest.
