Where to stay

Some of the wonderful places to stay that we frequently recommended.

Sayari Camp £££££

  • Tanzania
  • Safari and Wildlife Lodge

Sayari Tented Camp is located on the Mara River in the northern part of the Serengeti, where the Great Migration typically resides from mid-July/August until November. Even outside migration season, however, it is home to an abundance of wildlife. Sayari Camp is one of the few permanent camps on the Tanzanian side of the Mara River area and provides accommodation in spacious, well-equipped safari tents. Each tent has its own private veranda with a reclining couch and chairs, positioned to overlook the vast Serengeti. Inside are king-size beds and spacious bathrooms with showers, double sinks and ceramic flush toilets. The food here is very good and can be taken in the cosy dining area or in a private setting under the millions of stars in the Serengeti sky.
