Pacuare Lodge is a stunning jungle hideaway that combines exquisite luxury with thrilling adventure in the most discreet way. The accommodation at Pacuare Lodge includes five categories of room, from delightful garden bungalows and river-view suites to the outstanding Jaguar Villa with 350 square metres of jungle luxury.

The Linda Vista suites are five huge, luxurious hillside bungalows with a four-poster bed, living area and large deck and a private pool. Whereas the Canopy Suite offers a life in the treetops, boasting a 180-degree jungle view. The suite has a beautiful teak sun deck with a private plunge pool and its own suspension bridge leading you to a treetop platform from which to observe canopy life.

Pacuare Lodge is one of those few properties that just gets it right. The contrast of understated luxury and jungle living is a fantastic experience; whether you want to spend the day riding world-class rapids, or hiking in the jungle to remote communities or repelling down waterfalls, everything is carried out at the highest level. Dining is a gourmet experience and not at all compromised by the remote location.

Activities

There is a wide menu of experiences to choose from. The adventure activities begin with your arrival where guests can choose to arrive by 4×4 or by rafting along a stretch of world-class white-water rapids. Pacuare Lodge has its own series of zip lines and can arrange many experiences from hiking and bird-watching tours to cultural community visits, or you can simply relax by the pool.

Sustainability

Tourism provides valuable jobs in developing areas, often helping incentivise local communities to reject more harmful sources of income. Pacuare Lodge is an excellent example of this, with their commitment to only employing local people amplifying their impact. In fact, whilst 1 in 5 jobs in local communities close to the lodge is directly linked to tourism, Pacuare Lodge provides 70% of these jobs. This highlights the enormous impact that the lodge has on the local economy.
