Oberoi Amarvilas is situated just 650 yards from the Taj Mahal. This is the closest hotel to the Taj and has the best views. They need to be seen to be believed. We don’t really need to say anymore.

This is the place to be if your only reason to visit Agra is to marvel at the astonishing site that is the Taj Mahal.

The views are ever-present, kicking back from your bed, or just as impressive from the inviting bar and lounge area. The changing hues throughout the day make it hard to peel yourself away even for a minute. Although the award-winning spa beckons.

Why we like Oberoi Amar Vilas

The hotel has been designed so that every room has an unobstructed view of the Taj. When the setting sun turns the monument pink this is where you want to be. We prefer to book our clients a Premier Room with Balcony. What better way to start the day sat with your fresh coffee al fresco, observing the early morning sounds of the Taj Mahal as the city wakes up.

Facilities

When visiting Agra be sure to get here early enough to enjoy the facilities, such as the enormous swimming pool and the spa. The hotel’s ambience is best enjoyed after sundown with flame lit pavilions and staircases at their most romantic.
