Neeleshwar Hermitage is a beach and spa hotel in northern Kerala. The resort is stunning in every way, with comfortable rooms, all beautifully designed and influenced by local fisherman’s huts, an excellent spa and unparalleled seafood at the beachside restaurant.

Facilities

The spa offers authentic Ayurveda and spa treatments, complemented by a huge infinity pool. Two restaurants – Annapurna specialises in Vegetarian food, and Meenakshi the beachside restaurant where you can enjoy the morning catch.

Activities

Aside from spa treatments, take a trip to Bekal Fort or cycle the networks of small roads and lanes to experience local life along the lovely coastline.

Popular cookery classes are offered to all guest under the guidance of the resident chef.

Throughout the year, Alistair Shearer (co-founder and meditation teacher) holds specialist courses including yoga workshops.

There is an excellent library for those seeking quiet time.

The Hermitage is approximately two hours from Mangalore airport and four or five hours from Calicut International airport. Neeleshwar itself is a quiet backwater on the unexplored northern part of the Malabar Coast.
