Loi Suites Iguazu

Iguazu Falls, Argentina

Burrowed within the subtropical Iryapu Forest and encircled by towering trees, Loi Suites Iguazu is a peaceful and secluded retreat that is scattered with quaint wooden boardwalks and charming suspended bridges. The restaurant serves dishes created using indigenous flavours, and its impressive al fresco dining balcony overlooks a dazzling series of uniquely shaped stone pools that are surrounded by an abundance of native foliage.

Each of its 162 spacious rooms features spectacular views of the jungle, with some boasting wrap-around private decks, forest-view bathtubs and private terrace jacuzzis. Designed for unwinding after a day spent wandering in the jungle, the indulgent spa offers hot stone massages, steam baths and aromatherapy treatments in an ambient setting.

Important Note

Please be aware that a payment of 60 Argentinean Pesos (equivalent to just over £1) for the Ecotasa eco-tax fee must be paid locally in cash. This cannot be prepaid and applies to all visitors over the age of 12 years old. A receipt will be issued which you should keep for future inspection.

Activities

Between taking to the forest trails that wind towards the Iguazu River or heading out on horseback to explore the jungle, there are so many options for venturing out to explore the region. Following a short walk through the trees, a self-operated funicular takes guests on a memorable journey down to the river in a little wooden cubicle.

Aside from the spectacular Iguazu Falls that will no doubt form the highlight of a trip to the region, the man-made Itaipu Dam offers a wonderful tour of the site with its turbines and control rooms.

The property is committed to both the preservation of the Atlantic Rainforest, the sustainable development of the local communities who reside in Puerto Iguazu, and the safeguarding of the cultural and historical heritage of the original Mbya Guarani culture.
