Nestled in the heart of Lapalala Game Reserve, atop a spectacular 100 foot rock face, lies Noka Camp. Overlooking the Palala River below, Noka Camp encourages complete tranquillity with unparalleled comfort, whilst being a fantastic base from which to explore the African wilderness.

Immerse yourself in the African night sky in your sky bed, enjoy breathtaking views and spectacular sunsets from the luxury of your sunken bath or private pool and dine at Lepogo to taste a delightful menu that incorporates locally grown produce.

Why we like Noka Camp

Lepogo Lodges was created as a non-profit; it is one of the few lodges globally giving 100% of any profit back into the reserve. Cheetah reintroduction and preservation is a priority for the owners – the name Lepogo is derived from the Sotho for Cheetah.

Activities

Explore the 50,000 hectare reserve with experienced guides on game drives or bush walks. Venture on morning, afternoon and all day game drives with no fixed routines and fine dining throughout. Enjoy an interactive bush walk tailored to your ability; take a gentle stroll or embark on a more energetic hike to take in the staggering plains and gorges.

The Waterberg is rich in rock-art sites, with Lapalala itself being home to 13 sites, one of which is directly below Noka Camp. Spend a night under the stars bush camping, contribute to conservation efforts and be up close and personal with incredible animals and discover an abundance of birdlife on a water safari.

Sustainability

Lepogo Lodges offsets every international guests’ carbon footprint from when they leave their homes, arrive at the lodge and return home again. The team at the lodge will calculate the carbon emissions of guests’ journeys and convert this to a monetary figure. Guests can then select which of their projects they would like to contribute to.
