La Aldea de la Selva

Embraced by the dense Parana Rainforest and comprised of a series of simple wood and stone buildings that are connected by wooden walkways, La Aldea de la Selva is a rustic lodge that is overlooked by emerald green jungle at every aspect.

Its three outdoor pools and waterfall are meditative places to unwind while listening to the symphonies of birdcall, and a completely open-sided restaurant is a romantic setting that serves delicious dishes inspired by the region.

Each of its 30 rooms features private jungle-view terraces with hammocks and are decorated with locally-made furnishings, while some boast alfresco Jacuzzis and expansive wood-clad bathrooms. A simple lodge whose truest asset is its spectacular location, La Aldea de la Selva is best thought of as a base for explorations of the province and the Iguazu National Park.

Important Note

Please be aware that a payment of 60 Argentinean Pesos (equivalent to just over £1) for the Ecotasa eco-tax fee must be paid locally in cash. This cannot be prepaid and applies to all visitors over the age of 12 years old. A receipt will be issued which you should keep for future inspection.
