Why we like Uga Jungle Beach

Being the only hotel on the bay, the four-kilometre beach is virtually deserted. With Trincomalee within easy reach, all the activities are a short drive away. We love the beach cabins set away from the main building. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves.

Facilities

The Jungle Beach spa offers Ayurvedic treatments to complement the classic massage menu. Uga Jungle Beach is known for innovative food, both Sri Lankan and western, and fresh seafood is bought from the village fisherman. The food is unique and delicious. The open-air tree house style restaurant overlooks the pool or for an intimate dining experience, why not arrange a beach picnic under the stars against the backdrop of the Indian Ocean.

Children are very welcome, and the atmosphere can feel like an extended family. Being an eco-retreat, the hotel has been constructed with minimum impact on the environment. Do expect some uninvited wildlife. It is the jungle after all.
