Overlooking a wide grassy plain, in the heart of the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve lies the super luxurious and boutique Jamala Madikwe Royal Safari Lodge. Offering the best there is in fine dining, attention to detail, service and game viewing.

Nothing has been left unattended, the game drive vehicles are state of the art – the private salas replete with fluffed cushions and the wildlife come to watch you as you sit on the deck overlooking the plain. Each suite is vast with its own lounge area, rim flow plunge pool and private deck. Linens are sumptuous and furnishings reflect refinement and safari chic. Owner and manager, Rodney is always around to ensure that every wish is made into reality.

We love this excellent hideaway for a romantic break or honeymoon, the Jamala Team will ensure that you have everything you desire. The last time we visited we decided not to game drive and watched the game on the plains in front of the lodge instead – you don’t need to leave the lodge to have fantastic viewings!
