  • Wellness and Spa

An extraordinary retreat high in the hills above San Pablo Lake with views to Imbabura Volcano, Sacha Ji is a thoughtful property created by photographer and architect Maria Teresa Ponce. Consciously named, Sacha (meaning forest) and Jí (a Hindi word signifying respect or admiration) are both sensitive to its environment and dedicated to the wellbeing of its guests. The property is known for its mostly vegetarian menu, a wealth of healing therapies, wellness programmes, photography courses and yoga classes. Guests of its 11 charming rooms are invited to unwind on rooftop hammocks and admire the extraordinary barely-there architecture that follows a Feng Shui principle.
